"B is for "biological curiosity"!" |
The B (Bilcus bulogus) is a strange organism. It is unknown if their design is a simple coincidence or if a race who had kept an eye on mankind before altering a number of species in an attempt to communicate with man that they had watched over them. While the Human race was in fact the race who first discovered them, no "galactic god" species has ever shown themselves to state they created the species. They are therefore left as a mystery of the galaxy, and a minor wonder.
Behind the scenes[]
The choice to place Bs at "vulnerable" conservative status is directly connected to the letter frequencies in the English language. In it, any letter between 7‒12% is placed as least concern, letters from 4‒7% are near threatened, 2‒4% are vulnerable, 1‒2% are endangered, and 0‒1% as critically endangered.
The exact population is also based upon the letter frequencies, stemming from the percentage that the letter B is used, which is listed at 2.0720%.
