The Fxerixiac (pronounced "Fair-x-E-ack") are a strange lifeform, and only main species of semi-intelligible life found on the planet Gitro. The Fxerixiac is one of the larger subspecies of its family group: though size varies amongst each individual. Despite that, the overall body structure remained unanimous: with a long serpentine-like body, with leaf-like protrusions growing from its back. These growths works similar to true plants, allowing the Fxerixiac to gain energy from the sun. It's head holds large, ball-like "seeds", which it can shoot as means of defense. Other limb-like roots can grow from its body in multiple places, though locations of said limbs isn't restricted to any general area.

Behavior[]

It is a highly aggressive organism, towards other members of its species, and outside races as well. While aggressive towards other members, its highly sociable towards its own kind, often found in literally clusters that range from five, to fifty individuals growing together. While it is currently unclear, some races that had encountered these beings say they are a type of plant-like sapient race, using weaponry in driving them away. However, this could be a case of mistaken judgment, due to their knack of wrapping around various materials as they move, and interact.

Their feeding behavior is remarkably similar to that of normal plant lifeforms: they can absorb the sun's rays, and turn that into energy for the being to grow. It is unclear if the organism indeed needs water to survive or not, as it can be found within dry deserts, or abandoned, polluted areas of the main continent.

Reproduction[]

The reproductive behavior of the Fxerixiac is a confusing one, and one that has been only barely understood: occasionally, the Fxerixiac will shoot much smaller versions of its seeds into the air, where the seeds travel along the wind until they land. The time that a seed will germinate can last up to three earth months, until the juvenile will hatch out, and grow independently.
